The Biosystems Analytics and Technology major prepares you for a variety of careers, from academia to industry, to meet the needs of the 4th Industrial Revolution—the convergence of science, technology, and analytics. You’ll focus on combining biological, physical, and data sciences with technology and the ability to apply these tools to environmental, ecological, biological, agricultural, and human systems.

You’ll learn how to manage large-scale data from environmental and human metagenomics, remote sensing and precision observations, and sensors and controls to address important global challenges at the core of food, water, and energy challenges.
